tomos morgan

I’m a music professional working across artist projects, label operations, and creative delivery. As an artist, I release music under my name TOMOS, as well as through a number of pseudonyms spanning electronic, ambient, chill, and related genres. This reflects my long-term, exploratory relationship with sound and genre rather than a single fixed identity.

Alongside my own releases, I’ve spent recent years working on music projects for Apple, including work directly for Apple Music and iPhone, collaborating closely with teams at Platoon and Shazam. This work sits alongside running MÔR, an independent chill / ambient record label where I oversee artist support, A&R, creative direction, release planning, delivery, and backend administration.

Across all of my work, I’m known for being organised, adaptable, and easy to work with. I’m comfortable moving between creative and practical contexts, managing multiple projects at once, and helping ideas and releases move calmly and efficiently from concept through to completion.

TOMOS

Since 2021 I’ve worked in both contracted and self-employed capacities on various music projects for Apple, via  close collaborations with the teams at Platoon and Shazam under the guidance of Denzyl Feigelson & Richard Sharp. In 2025 we unveiled two products I had the pleasure of working on from early stages of development; the Automix function for Apple Music & the Ambient Music player on the iPhone.

My roles have involved composing, producing, mixing, and delivering music at scale, as well as researching and responding to complex briefs, and presenting work to senior executives. This experience strengthened my understanding of professional delivery standards, platform requirements, and how large creative projects move from concept to execution.

APPLE

MÔR is an independent record label focused on chill and ambient music. Each release is shaped around its own identity, with imagery, artwork, and creative direction developed to suit the music while considering its place within a wider musical landscape.

A key part of the label’s work is understanding how music exists within the current digital ecosystem. Releases are planned with close attention to playlists, DSP behaviour, and listening contexts, using analysis and observation to inform how and where music is positioned.

Running MÔR allows me to work closely with artists from early ideas through to finished releases. My role spans creative support, A&R, and practical oversight, helping projects reach completion smoothly and without unnecessary friction.

MÔR

TOMOS is my main personal project, though I’ve been releasing music for over 15 years under various guises. I started out under the co-alias Vanguard in 2008, then Vestalus, before moving to releasing under my own name. My roots are in house music, but my sound blends jazz, dub, soul, gospel, broken beat, downtempo, disco, ambient and many other influences.

My breakout single as Tomos was Surface Tension on Majestic Casual in 2018, earning multiple features on BBC Radio 1, leading to Track of the Week with Comfort Me (featuring Emma Jean Thackray) and Resonate. Since then, I’ve released EPs Count the Seconds and Go/Together on Juicebox, collaborated with Pinty via Rhythm Section and Greco Roman, and produced remixes for Foals and Night Tapes. Most recently, I released the EP Soul Feels Good on Noire & Blanche, with the next EP coming in early 2026.

SERVICES & skills

Alongside my work as a producer and label operator, I DJ and curate music across club, broadcast, and private contexts. I specialise in electronic, ambient, house & downtempo, whilst being flexible and always prepared for any musical direction an event might take!

I DJ and tour manage for Pinty, supporting live shows while handling the practicalities of life on the road, from schedules and logistics to liaising with venues, promoters, and agents. This has given me a grounded understanding of both performance and the organisational work that surrounds it.

I’m available for club nights, private parties, and curated listening events, with a flexible approach that adapts to the space, audience, and intention of the event.
